FALCON-i APPLICATION SOFTWARE

Falcon-i management solution is a web-based application software capable of tracking and reporting your fleet online anytime. With its user-friendly design and approach, the software is well-equipped to provide all the required MIS (Management Information System) reports and real-time information to facilitate a better and organized fleet management.

The software has 3 types of users namely Super Administrator, Administrator and User. Here the Super Administrator is the one who hosts the management software and server. The Super Administrator creates the Administrators who in turn create the Users. The Administrator and User is subjected to time line of expiring for their access into the solution.

A user created by the administrator can monitor the vehicle information based on a user name password assigned to him/her. The administrator can assign the number of vehicles to be tracked by a particular user by also specifying the time period for tracking as well.

Users can view the following information:

REAL-TIME TRACKING - The Falcon-i software application is integrated with Google maps to provide real-time tracking. The vehicle on the map is represented by a balloon icon which is also indicative of the status of the vehicle with different colour representation. Falcon-i application uses two different concepts for providing the real time tracking information.

4 x 4 tracking: This feature gives the user the option to select 4 vehicles at a time in a single window to view the real-time tracking information.
Location based tracking: Herein as the user keys in the location name the map is directed towards the particular location. The user can then track all vehicles near to this location.

BACKTRACK - Enables the user to track the route taken by a vehicle. The user can select a time frame within which he/she wants to track the route travelled by the vehicle. The backtrack can then be plotted on the map and also the report generated giving details of the backtrack.

REPORTS - Falcon-i software application generates different types of reports namely,

Trip sheet report
Fuel usage report
Speed violation report
Excessive stoppage time report
Alert report

Trip Sheet Report: This report comprises of details like time stamp of the vehicle location, speed, idle time and distance travelled for the particular time stamp. The report summarizes the total distance travelled by the vehicle for the particular trip. Also, provides details on the total idleness of the vehicle during the trip.

Fuel Usage Report: The reports generated here lists the fuel consumption for a particular trip during a given time period. It also gives the privilege to the user for knowing the fuel consumption for different time intervals within the defined time period. This report would summarize the mileage for the vehicle during a particular trip.

Speed Violation Report: User can define a speed value which can be the criteria for the software to generate a report which has details of whenever the vehicle has not fulfilled the given speed value. This speed value could be a limit either higher or lower than a specified value.

Excessive Stoppage Time Report: User can define an idle time limit which can be the criteria for the software to generate a report which has details of whenever the vehicle has not fulfilled the given idle time limit. This value could be a limit either higher or lower than a specified value. Subsequently the number of stoppages, duration of stoppage at each stoppage point and total stoppage time for the trip would be listed in the report.

Alert Report: For any particular trip all the alerts generated can be logged and generated in this report. These can be all types of alerts like over speed alert, destination alert, move alert and geo-fence alerts.

PLOTTING POINTS OF INTEREST

Vehicle location information is critical to run a transport business and so is for any provider offering such solution. Falcon-i application for vehicle tracking allows the users to add the point of interest (also known as waypoints) to provide information which is relevant to their business. User can add information like office location, warehouse location, pick or drop place to ensure meaningful interpretations of reports.

CREATE GEO-FENCE

Geo-fence (Creating fence for vehicle route) facilitate user to identify instance where a detour is taken from a usual route of the vehicle. Users create preferred and restricted areas for vehicle route to monitor any deviations from usual path. Geo-fence are circular boundaries created by specifying the radius for the boundary

DESTINATION ARRIVAL INFORMATION OF VEHICLE

Vehicle’s arrival to its destination can be monitored once the destination is identified and selected on the map. A vehicle, once it enters the circular boundary marked as destination for that vehicle sends the alert to the control station as well as on mobile phone of concerned person.

POP-UP FOR ALERTS, ALERTS ON MOBILE

The alerts like over speed, destination, geo-fence are all displayed as pop-ups on the web application and can be viewed as drop down option on the left hand side of the screen. All the alerts are further forwarded to the administrator on his/her mobile phone.

POWER SUPPLY STATUS

The device once connected to the main battery of the vehicle gives the status as "Main" i.e the vehicle is connected to the main power source which is taken from the vehicle’s battery. However in case the main power source is disconnected, the auxiliary battery takes care of the gadget’s operations. The status of the battery’s power status is highlighted with icon to show the battery time left to make the gadget run before main power supply must be restored.
